COMPOST USE IS FOR YARD WASTE (LEAVES, STICKS & BRUSH) ONLY!!

The compost station is open to Hanover residents at no charge, for yard waste only. The cost is $35 for out of the city limits. You must present a compost pass which is available at Town Hall.

You may purchase a one- trip, dump permit for a truck load of trash and large items for $25 to be paid at Hanover Town Hall (Cash or Check only)

The Compost Is Open (March 2026 through November 2026):

• Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Sunday: 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM
